My wife Lori and I moved to Maine in August 2023. It had been something we've talked about since 1989 when we first started dating. Since those nascent days we have raised two children who think of Maine as their second home. I have been visiting Maine since I was six years old when my parents brought me here in the summer for one to two weeks of camping. Living on the Midcoast Lori and I have discovered a whole new level of love for Maine, its natural beauty, its history, and its culture. We recognize that what makes Maine so special is also what makes it so fragile. The splendor that is Maine needs to be preserved and protected.
